On October 14, 2023, Mr. Kaneko from the Technical Department of Shinagawa Refractory Co., Ltd. came to supervise and guide the pre-laying work of the Taiwan furnace bottom. Upon arrival at the site, he first measured and calibrated the arch height of the furnace bottom pre-laying model, the diameter of the lower ring of the model, and the positioning of the permeable bricks. Starting October 16, 2023, the positioning of the center bricks and the dimensions of each ring of the pre-laid furnace bottom were checked and measured, with an error of ±0.5mm. Secondly, the pre-laying dimensions of the upper and lower openings of the permeable bricks, the axial distance from the permeable bricks to the center, and the chord length between the permeable bricks were all measured and confirmed. Guiding opinions and suggestions were also provided during the pre-laying process. Through Mr. Kaneko's on-site guidance, the pre-laying work was successfully completed and received his approval.
